How do I receive compensation for Missed Pick-Up?

Haulla offers a suitable Missed Pick-Up(MPU) credit or recovery Pick-Up service based on the customer's service type.

What is MPU Credit?

  • MPU Credit is a compensation offered to customers when a missed pick-up occurs.

MPU Credit and Recovery Pick-up Policy

  • Depending on how often customer receive collection services and when the missed pick-up is reported, Haulla offers recovery pick-up or MPU credit to compensate the customer.

  • In some cases, recovery pick-ups may be possible when customer receives service only once a week or once a month.

  • If customer prefers MPU credit over recovery pick-up, Haulla can check if it is available in that area and set up the recovery pick up schedule for the customer. Otherwise, Haulla will offer a credit.

  • Haulla will immediately check with our driver and the specific amount of credit will be reflected on customer’s next invoice, unless it turns out that the missed pick-up was due to a misunderstanding, such as closed access.

  • If the missed pick-up is reported after the 20th of the month, credit will be applied to the following month. 

How Haulla Calculates a MPU Credit

  • (1 Month Haulla Rate) / (# of services customer receives in 1 month period)
